Sweet Little Things

It's another workday and I decided to wear something simple. Just a simple tank top, denim shorts and my slip-on DC shoes. (Wasn't able to take a photo, anyway.) But the rain poured so hard as soon as I went out the house. Just when I taught that it will be another humid day. So I went back in, and threw on a different top and footwear. 

Oh, the sweet little things! Most of the items are gifts from my boyfriend's family, thanks Love (Shua Dy)!

 I just felt like wearing them all at once. The colors are fortunately close, except for the boots.

The white long sleeved printed top is Tita's "pasalubong" or gift/souvenir from HK. Shua picked this design from a bunch for me. :) It has a lot of prints like names of places, a television show (Glee) and flags! :) Just makes the top more interesting, perfect for someone who loves to travel. (Oh! he knows me so well <3).

The brown suede wedge boots from Jehanne (Shua's older sister), I bet it's also from HK. 

And of course, this Royal Red Sling Bag from my beloved <3

Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey, a heartbeat on the runway.

Lana Del Rey is an American singer-songwriter. One of my top artists who serves as a divine influence, both in fashion and in music. Using her songs for runway shows, it could never go wrong! Greatly drawn to her, I decided to make a top that acknowledges her notable works. (And I made a floral headdress that matches hers too!).

The top has a deep armhole slit and a low round neckline. The print could be in Silver, Black and Blue.

The shirt design is inspired from the ever famous Jack Daniels Logo.

The Sun Won't Set

The sun won't set, not today. Weather's becoming more unpredictable and I can't be more thankful to have a busy sunny Thursday! It will probably rain  later so I decided to put on my favorite sweater. And it's studded with a quote of "Crazy For You". I got this from a friend;s online shop (Vestis) a long time ago. :) And I modeled for the line too!

Spending another work day with our little fellow, Seven , a chihuahua. Now ain't she adorable? :) Such a stress reliever :) 

One of the cozy looks that is weather and work-appropriate:Tucked sweater and denim shorts, buckled with something borrowed (my mom's belt, which I wore yesterday :3 because it goes with my sweaters palette) and ofcourse shoes! I am currently inseparable from my nude pointed stills, it actually gives the illusion of height. And I can't say no to that! for a short girl like me.

From School Girl to Working Girl!

From school girl to working girl! It's another washday wednesday and a lot of fashion enthusiasts would take this opportunity to dress up in school. I had to run errands for work after my class so I had to wear something comfortable.

 So I went with a black skater skirt I got from Love Eleven, an ochre-toned oversize top from a thriftshop in Manila (definitely coming back!), my Mom's old black braided belt with a gold buckle, black and orange stills  from Janilyn - Ayala Cebu (and you can actually run with this stills! well, it's abusy day, busy day), Carla Kantarines clutch from Anthill, a collectable watch from Disney Land (a gift), Giraffe Bangle from Forever 21, and last but not the least, a gold leaf ring from a good friend of mine, Lian Lacandalo :)
